Batman Unmasked
Batman Unmasked is a conceptual exhibition project exploring identity, transformation, and duality through experimental print and motion design. Created in response to a university brief, the project includes a series of three posters, each focusing on a different character from the Batman universe: Batman, The Riddler, and The Joker.

The visuals were created using gel printing, a hands-on, tactile printmaking technique chosen for its unpredictability and rich textures — offering a refreshing contrast to digital design norms. It was a deliberate move to step into unfamiliar territory and allow process-led experimentation to shape the visual language.

Each poster is extended through frame-by-frame animation, using morphism to transition elements smoothly and tell a short narrative unique to each character. The animations bring the prints to life and are experienced through augmented reality (AR), adding a dynamic, layered dimension to the exhibition concept.

This project merges traditional craft with emerging technology to examine the tension between surface and identity — what’s shown, what’s hidden, and what’s revealed.
